Who is Dana Ralph?

I am a fourth generation Kent resident.  I grew up in the house my grandparents built and now live only a few blocks from there.  I attended East Hill Elementary, Kent Junior High (Mill Creek Middle School) and graduated from Kent Meridian High School. 

I have been married to my husband, Shawn, for 20 years.  We have two sons, Kyle - 15 and Derek - 11.

When I decided to start my business 16 years ago, Kent was the only place I considered. 

My husband works here and my children attend school in the Kent School District.  My family lives, works and plays in this city. 

I am fiscally conservative. The City of Kent has a responsibility to offer core services at the highest quality possible.  The citizens of Kent should expect nothing less.  I will make that my focus. The budget needs to be managed conservatively and focused in the direction of these priorities - family safety, transportation and infrastructure and parks.  These things have a direct impact on the well being of all residents.

Kent is my city.  I am proud of all that Kent has to offer and will continue to work hard to build upon that.
